Lebanese Farewell Gathering
The Consul General of Lebanon, Majdi Ramadan and Madame Vanessa Raphael Ramadan hosted a dignified reception to bid adieu and to celebrate the new appointments of to soon to be former Ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Nawaf Salam and his dynamic wife, Sahar Baasiri Salam. The two will both be moving on to their new positions- Dr. Nawaf Salam as a Judge on the International Court of Justice and Mrs. Sahar Salam as Lebanon's Ambassador to UNESCO. The intimate gathering was held at the residence of the Consul General where only the dear and very close were present to share the special occasion.
