Meera Ghandi, one of New York’s best known hostesses and her children Kiran, Kalika, and Kabir Ghandi were delighted to receive their family friends to a private reception at her residence in honor of HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG, GCVO, CD, ADC (P). Meera’s residence is also the historic home of our former beloved First Lady Elenore Roosevelt. Meera is the CEO of The Giving Back Foundation, well respected in the United States and England.

The Giving Back Foundation was established in 2010 to act as a catalyst in creating a new generation of leaders and thinkers from poor urban and rural communities around the world. By supporting education, tackling malnutrition and illness, and addressing the causes of poverty, the foundation aims to empower and uplift women and children to be the agents of change in this process.
